Volunteers

YEs, you can help

The Harte Trail is maintained by volunteers, it can’t keep up naturally. The natural beauty of the Trail is fostered by the Friends of the Harte Trail, and we welcome new folks to assist.

  1. How can I help?

    Join our membership!

Come assist during our annual fall clean up, or pick up as your enjoying the trail (bins at every intersection).

Share our page and content on your social platforms, more engagement and awareness the better.

Pick up! We hold clean ups each year, and we fund the Green Team in the summer to assist. But we always need help, there are bins at every major intersection feel free to snap up what you see, karma and all that right? Better yet don’t litter, but if you’re already reading this, chances are your not the type of folks to litter.

  2. How often does the board meet?

Meetings are always held the last Thursday of the month. Starting each year in April with meetings in May and June. We break for the summer and meet again in September. The Annual General Meeting is in October with the last meeting each year in November. Check our events section for details.

  3. Do you have any events?

We do a semi annual tree plant each year. One in the Spring, one in the Fall. October is our annual clean up, board members, members of the Friends the Green Team and volunteers meet at various parts of the trail to clean up. Check our events section for details.

All board members are volunteers, ——>let us know if you’d like to help!
